just finished a refurb of this piece of local classic surfing history,a tigger newling 7′ 4” x23” 4”, round tail s-deck yes four inches thick theres some foam in this baby,it came to us smothered in a layer of dirty glass that we striped off to reveal a nice 70’s acid wash deck panel, this one we think was made in a green house in treyarnon possible in 1970 the number on the board is 2570 and initials of pv

we are doing a board for a vw enthusiast, his van is next door being renavated by smiths of cornwall and custom interiors he decided to get a board to go with the van ,so we are doing this early sixties inspired long board along with a nice chopstick fin, resin panel work and gloss polish.

fresh diplocks in the sanding bay waiting for the finishing touches, alot of people don’t understand that a good sand job can make or break a good board preserving the edges just how the shaper likes them, not sanding the laps away etc etc ,just another of the highly skilled processes in the art of making surfboards.
